Area 1 is an independent UK - German Game Studio founded by Richard. We are developing games and immediately jumped on the VR and AR train since the beginning of Oculus Rift. We started working on our own vision and games. Gaming is about great experiences and having fun with friends.

History

Early history

Well first we developer Apps and Games mostly for Mobile and Tables. We now just want to create great experiences for new platforms like VR and AR.

After that

Doing some work for hire projects an HTC Vive, Oculus, FOVE, Playstation VR (aka Project Morpheus), Gear VR, Cardboard and 360 video integration taken from Ricoh Theta S, M15 and GoPro 360 rigs. Also working on a shopping cart payment system that works inside VR.
